The Basics & Not So Basics

A group environment while training your dog. This is a 6 week program in a class of no more than 10 dogs that will be held for an hour each week. Are your ready to join us to help your dog with proper leash manners, social skills with other dogs and people, learn the basics and not so basics, play games to work on reliability and recall?  Then this is for you!

The Program:

Classes run once per week for 6 weeks

Each class 1 hr in length, 6 hours of education for you and your dog AND a whole lot of fun.

The first class is a human only class, full of fun learning for setting up a successful home. This will help you get your training on track from the inside out 😉

  • Ongoing text, email or phone support for 1 month, working on the training already studied
  • Access to our Saturday morning $5 Walk Stars Class (handling skills)

Once this program is completed in it's entirety (all 6 classes must be attended), you will receive a Certificate of Completion that can then be used to receive your Dog License from Strathcona County for the upcoming year for FREE with their new Dog Licensing Initiative.

** All dogs attending will be dog and human friendly and non reactive on leash.

(if your dog is is environmentally reactive or leash reactive, try one of our Day Training programs before attending this class)


Your Investment

$320 per dog includes a collar, halti or slip line

It is your responsibility to make all 6 classes, if you miss a class it will be forfeited and you will not receive your Certificate of Completion.

Advance Your Canine Training

All Around Hound's reputation for long lasting results comes from this group course.  Being Packed In is a natural thing for a dog. They need strong guidance and leadership from you!

Let your LIFE begin! With this continuing education program, we will teach you how to incorporate dog training into your everyday life. You will be given the tools to teach and train your own dog everyday in every environment and have reliability.  Your dog will learn to listen to you in any and all situations, with multiple distractions.

Any dog, no matter the breed or age. ALL dogs welcome!

The program:

Total of 8 classes
Each class is 1.25 hours in length
10 total hours of instruction time

In a 'real world' classroom environment, you and your dog will be challenged by the hustle and bustle of busy streets, the quiet of suburban neighborhoods and everything in between.

In order to graduate and earn the AAH Certificate of Achievement, you must attend ALL 8 classes + do all necessary homework

To advance your training skills, you will learn:

  • Loose leash walking (no more pulling!)
  • Hands free walking
  • Dropped leash walking
  • Working off leash Walking
  • Working off leash recall
  • Patience training
  • Playing with your dog
  • Dog massage & Settle
  • Proper praise and reward

Prerequisites:

Your dog must have attended our Let's Get Started or one of our Day Training Programs and/or had basic obedience classes from another facility/trainer. If you have trained your own dog? Good job! That qualifies too!

$465 per dog
